Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler

After breaking up with Ed, the dreamy, jocky, basketball star, Min begins to put her life back in order. Step one is getting rid of any and all mementos from her relationship with Ed, which she is accomplishing by dumping them in a box on his front porch. But not without explanation. One by one, each object is given a story, which becomes the tale of their romance, and ultimately explains why they broke up.
