Animal Farm by George Orwell

This is by far the best novel I have ever read. I think what makes it so interesting is that it is written sort of like a child's book. The story takes place in a farm with several different animals who are under fed, are worked to the bone and are mistreated by their master. One night, after being starved for a few days, the animals, on the guidance of one pig decide to take charge. They attack their master and claim the farm as their own. They decide to call it animal farm. The animals talk and have human traits, but the smartest of them all are the pigs. The pigs start making the rules for all the animals, and they begin to work harder than ever for their promised perfect future.
But when the pigs start wearing human clothes, and sleeping in human beds, things begin to change.
This book is simple, and will leave a mark on your for a very long time. I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a profound story. You will not be able to put this down.
