This book is Phenomenal. Katniss shows strength, intelligence, and compassion and is a great example of what amazing character development looks like. Written with a fast-pace plot, the romance between Katniss and Peeta and Katniss and Gale makes this book addicting. Impossible to put down which is why "The Hunger Games" series are my favourite books to read. "we are not just beautiful, we are dark and powerful." (-Katniss Everdeen Pg. 212) this line in the book perfectly describes her character and this book.
