Deanne's mom is really bossy and sets her up with this boy. Deanne is shy and doesn't like him and is sick of being bossed around. So Deanne decides that she will volunteer in the hospital after being told that it was fun. Her mom didn't approve at first but after reconsidering she gives in. In the hospital Deanne gets reassigned to a different floor. She meets this charming guy, Matt and after meeting his family she is all for him.Deanna, age 14, Lynden Branch
