Wondrous Strange by Lesley Livingston

Kelly Winslow is seventeen and on her own in New York City trying to develope her career in acting. She has the leading role as a fairy queen in Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream. Unexpectedly she meets Sonny Flannery who slowly, and much to Kelly's despise, tells her that the world of Faeries does exist and that she plays a huge role in it. There is plotting and feelings of destruction coming from the Faerie Kings and Queens, which will heavily impact the human world, in a negative way. Kelly needs to embrace that faeries exist and learn to work with Sonny if she wants to save not only herself but the rest of the human world too.

I really enjoed this book. It was extremely captivating. This one is definitely a page-turner, there are unexpected twists around every corner. A really cute story that leaves me wanting to read the second book at this very moment.
