Confessions of a Closet Catholic by Sarah Littman

This is about a girl named Justine who is Jewish buut want to be something else. She gives up chocolate for lent and then becomes a Catholic. Of course, she never told anyone this since her family have struggled through war just to be Jewish. When everyone finds out that Justine was secretly a Catholic everone gets mad except Bubbe (her grandma). Soon Bubbe becomes sick and dies. Justine thinks its because of her wanting to be Catholic that Bube dies to shock. Jusitne wants to find out what being Jewish is all about and she soon loves being Jewish, even more then her family. Infact, she brings some Jewish traditions into the family again that no one in their family followed before besides Bubbe.
