This book was a nail-biter, especially at the end! Wave Warrior is about a boy named Ben, who lives in Nova Scotia near a beach. Surfers come there, all the time, and Ben wishes he could surf. One day, while Ben is sitting on the beach, an old dog walks up and leads him to a legendary surfer. Ben learns that this surfer, named Ray, isn’t from Nova Scotia, but California. He’s been surfing for a long time, and teaches Ben to surf, and face his fears.
